Original Model: H35 & H40 3.5hp & 4hp Tecumseh This engine had a 2nd PTO shaft to run the reverse gear on the tiller. You can use a 3, 3.5, or 4 hp Tecumseh or Briggs with the single shaft, but you will not be able to use reverse any longer. You can use any of the OHV engines listed, but you might have to remove the bumper from your tiller.
